Lopsided Breasts

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Many women have one breast bigger than the other – it is just as common as having one foot bigger than the other. Sometimes the difference is very noticeable, as if one breast has hardly developed at all.
When it comes to breastfeeding, this is not a problem – the small breast usually produces milk normally – but if you feel self-conscious about it, you may consider surgery.
In the UK, it is possible to have the operation done on the National Health Service, but the waiting list is likely to be a year or two. Usually the small breast is enlarged by an implant, and sometimes the size of the larger breast is reduced as well.
